I feel VERY concerned about the future of the Norwester Mountain range, and would like to add my voice to the MANY voices of protest.

I feel VERY concerned about HOW Horizon got City Council to agree to this installation without ANY public consultation.

I also feel VERY concerned about the land itself, about its fauna, flora and water. It is a land which has been treasured by aboriginal peoples for its maple grove, its population of peregrine falcons, moose, bats, and much more.

I am not against wind energy, but I believe that locations must be chosen very carefully: installations must be placed where there will be no destruction of the environment, and of course, far away from any human dwellings to prevent health hazards (such as those created by the flicker) and property devaluation. this installation also would threaten a very important asset to our region and its touristic future: the Lock Lomond ski hills.

I also have heard at one of the events I attended that this installation would make my hydro bills increase, and I feel VERY concerned about that.
